Polite Paws’ primary trainer is Robin Walter. She holds a masters degree in nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore and has been training dogs professionally since 1998.
Her work with service dogs, the local humane association and dog safety for young children has been featured in the Island Packet, Bluffton Today and Pink Magazine. WTOC’s Mid-Morning Live show (Channel 11) is currently following her work with Lexie, a service dog due to be placed in December, 2006.
Robin also writes a monthly pet column for The City Sun. She’s a professional member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals); the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers); and is an approved Canine Good Citizen evaluator for the AKC (American Kennel Club). |
